THE LITTLE JOURNAL · 4 min read
A tiny journal, neatly arranged
Dates, headings and dividers for easy-to-read notes.
Start with three parts
Write the date, today’s heading and something you want to remember. A short divider between the heading and body makes it easier to revisit. Keep the note short enough to read comfortably on a phone.
Give each symbol a role
A flower for a good moment, a star for something learned, a heart for gratitude. Keeping these roles consistent lets you focus on writing. Use plain text for explanations so notes remain searchable.
Keep the lines short
Long dividers may wrap on phones. Try ── ✧ ── first. Fonts and apps change alignment, so put one item on each line instead of making a table out of spaces.
